Meet Nick Gonzalez
Executive Director
A New Chapter for the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra
The Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Gonzalez as our new Executive Director, following a nationwide search.
Nick brings nearly a decade of nonprofit leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving the Bakersfield community. Most recently, he served as Operations and Outreach Manager at Stewards, a local nonprofit providing financial management and support for vulnerable individuals.
“As the BSO nears the century mark as Bakersfield’s most enduring institution devoted to culture and the arts, Nick will work with the board to create a vision for the future,” said Patrick Paggi, Chairman of the Board.
Nick shared, “I’m honored to step into this role at such a pivotal moment for the BSO. I’m committed to making the BSO feel like home for everyone in our city and beyond.”
We also extend our deepest gratitude to Holly Arnold, outgoing Executive Director, for her outstanding leadership and tireless dedication to the Symphony. Holly’s vision and commitment guided the BSO through significant milestones and strengthened our connection to the community. We wish her all the best in her next chapter.
