Audition schedules will be sent by Tuesday, January 5, 2027.
Deposit
To be considered for the audition, a refundable $25 deposit is required. Please mail a check or money order payable to:

Your deposit will be held and securely shredded after you check in for your audition.

Audition Packets
BSO strives for transparency and provides equal opportunity for all musicians. Auditions will be blind and performed behind a curtain. We kindly ask you to be prepared to follow the appropriate etiquette.
You will perform before an audition committee consisting of Music Director Stilian Kirov, Concertmaster Julia Haney, and additional members of the orchestra.
Audition Format
Musicians may perform during the remaining concerts of the 2026/27 season as their availability allows and will be expected to perform full time during the 2027/28 season.
