Bringing the orchestra into the classroom.

Our Kids Discover Music program brings Bakersfield Symphony musicians directly into local elementary schools for an engaging, up-close introduction to the orchestra.

Through live performance, students discover the instruments of the orchestra, hear how they work together, and connect with the professional musicians behind the music. Students are encouraged to ask questions, interact with the musicians, and experience live orchestral music in a personal and memorable way.
