Meet Brigitt Sakai
Director of Finance

 

Brigitt Sakai brings more than 14 years of experience serving arts-focused nonprofit organizations and is the Finance Director for the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra. She oversees the Symphony’s financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, payroll, and financial planning, while helping guide the day-to-day administration of the organization.

In addition to managing finances, Brigitt plays an essential role in supporting the many moving parts of the Symphony. Her work touches nearly every area of the organization, helping ensure that concerts, programs, and daily operations run smoothly behind the scenes.

Known for her collaborative approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, Brigitt serves as a vital connection point between the Symphony’s artistic, administrative, and community-facing work. Her dedication helps create meaningful experiences for audiences, musicians, students, volunteers, and supporters throughout Kern County.
