How old were you when you started playing your instrument?

“I was in kindergarten when I started violin, so 5 or 6 years old.”

Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living?  

“I am a musician--I teach violin privately, coach group classes, and perform.”

What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“Expose yourself to and become familiar with as many different types of music as you can!”

“I studied German in school and lived in Germany from 2014-2017.”

“My dad was the type who golfed as much as he possibly could and just before he passed, we went to the driving range together every day for the entire summer. Now I am continuing to practice on my own!”
