How old were you when you started playing your instrument?

“I started playing the French horn when I was 8 years old.”

Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living?

“I am a CPA and the Accounting Administrator at Community Action Partnership of Kern.”

What do you enjoy most about playing with the BSO? 

“I really enjoy getting to have wonderful musical experiences with the people who have become my second ‘family’ over the past 21 years and also the chance to inspire young people to pursue their musical dreams.”

What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“I would be beyond thrilled to have someone sponsor my chair as it would affirm the love I know our local community has for our orchestra and musicians and would help ensure our fine institution continues for years to come!”
