How old were you when you started playing your instrument?

“I started early with several instruments. Settled on the viola at age 12.”

Besides the Bakersfield Symphony, what else do you do for a living?

“Freelance musician. Adjunct educator. Private teaching studio.”

What do you enjoy most about playing with the BSO? 

“Being a member of a community of musicians dedicated to the art of the symphony.”

What is one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring musician? 

“My chair sponsor is personally connected to the BSO and joins the cherished history and tradition of special patron support.”
