BSO Next:
Inspire the Next Generation

4th-12th Grade Limited sponsored tickets available

BSO Next brings students from across Kern County to Symphony concerts. The goal of the program is to not only expose students to professional musical performance, but to inspire students with a broad view of art, culture, education, and their own untapped potential. This program includes access to interactive learning materials and an educational and engaging pre-concert presentation designed for students.

“Music makes life so much richer. It taps into our deepest emotions and greatest joys. The more you experience and learn about music, the richer the experience. Music has meant so much to me since my childhood - it really is a part of who I am.” - Tim Swanson, Bakersfield Symphony, Violin II
